The municipality of Kazabazua is proud to offer its residents one of the best libraries, not only in the Gatineau Valley, but also in the Outaouais region.

It was honored at a ceremony held in St-Emile-de-Suffolk, in the Petite-Nation, by the Réseau Biblio-Outaouais which awarded the Kazabazua Library the Prize for Excellence for the Outaouais region, in 2007.

« The previous year we won the title "Libray of the Year" for communities of 5000 residents or less, but this year, it's the grand prize we have won. It is to the credit of the community of Kazabazua and volunteers who work for the culture here. It proves that we can accomplish great things even if we are a small rural municipality », said at that time Robert Bergeron, president of the Association culturelle, sociale et de l’âge d’or of Kazabazua, while speaking to reporter Jean Lacaille.

The library is under the supervision of the Director Eliana Brennan.
